9. What does the settlement provide?
NVIDIA has agreed to provide a replacement of the NVIDIA GPU or MCP to Class Members who purchased certain versions of some Dell, Inc. or Apple Inc. notebook computers that contain an NVIDIA chip and who send in a valid Claim Form and appropriate supporting documentation.
NVIDIA has also agreed to provide a fund in the amount of $2,000,000 to provide reimbursements if you purchased a version of one of the notebook computer models identified in the Full Notice that contains an NVIDIA GPU or MCP during the dates listed in the Full Notice experienced certain identified symptoms, and have appropriate documentation proving that you paid to have the notebook computer repaired. The amount of reimbursement may depend on the number of reimbursement claims received.

There are only two diesels currently offered in the US: the MB e350 and VW Jetta. However, neither are availible for purchase in several states, including California, and New York.
However, the regs allow ownership of these diesels within those states if the purchaser runs through severael hoops. Is anyone familiar with the process for purchasing the car out of state and importing back to the state with the prohibition? It involves driving the car for several thousand miles for a minimum number of months before registering in the home state. I'm most interested in California.

There are many more on the way, including from sister company Audi.
What needs to happen for California and other states like it to allow them, is the us to switch to Low Sulfur diesel which ends up producing less hydrocarbons, and other emissions.
With Low Sulfur, we will also have MANY more options for Diesel vehicles, as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Saab, Volvo, and other European car companies have great Diesel engines, they just don't want to invest in making them work with the High Sulfur diesel .
I am not familiar with the process in question, but I am looking to do something similar, however involving importing a car from Germany that wasn't completely legal in the US.

Just buy one now. Rumours are pointing towards a Q4 or Q1 2012 release. No point in waiting that long. The iPhone 4 is a great device, get the white one if you want to be different. :D

to be frank, i would wait for the new computer which will have imovie11 bundled. i have no idea what early versions of imovie do to footage on import, but it's probably not nice. If you were using FCP it wouldn't be an issue.
fyi, mpeg4 is h.264 (kind of). h.264 is actually mpeg4 part 10, but the terms are often used interchangeably. Both however, are delivery formats.
I would import as DV since it would be the native tape based format and has less compression.

i just split my HD in half, which is probably incredibly unnecessary seeing as that gives windows 250 gigs when i only play one game on it right now....haha...but then again i don't need that much space on mac either.
honestly i think it depends on how many games you plan on installing and their sizes. fi you're going to have a lot of huge games on there like mmo's and whatnot, apply liberal gigs.

Both mint and tested (receipt for warranty available as well I believe but would have to dig through files).
Sorry, like I said before ^^ I need a low end card, probably like a ATI Rage that I just need to display video, no gaming.

But does doing that make your iPhone SIM no longer work in your iPhone? I just want to be able to use my iPhone SIM in the iPad as I please so I don't have to tether using MyWi all the time. (This is for an iPad 2 by the way.)
I don't think that's possible anymore.
MyWi with on demand is very convenient and does not use that much battery.

I went to the website and checked as far down as iTunes 10.2 but they are all listed as being for Windows. Any for the Mac?

How much do you think the Lion update would cost?
My guess is around $100, so it may be worth waiting for a little while. At this point, I personally won't be upgrading for a while, as I'm not a huge fan of what I have seen so far out of Lion.

Take a look at an extract from the modem update for jaguar! I have seen too many places say a dual 1.5Ghz!!! I reckon they planned to release it but could not because of Motorola, so they pulled it at the last minute.

You dont need an Internet connection, but what you could do is plug your Macbook into any speakers, create a wifi network with your macbook, join that wifi network with your iPhone and just use the iTunes Remote App to control the music.
